Domestic Violence Law in TN.

The domestic violence law in Tn. Boy ain't that a money maker for the courts. Did you know if you are arrested for domestic violence and the charge is dismissed or you are found not guilty you can no longer purchase any types of guns. 
Now why is a crime that was dismissed or one I was found guilty of being held against me?
                                  Here are some facts about Domestic Violence laws:
1. False accusations and wrongful arrests occur regularly.
2. In the course of a heated argument and struggle, it is not uncommon to strike someone or push someone down on accident. This happens all the time. In the chaos of some mutual pushing and grabbing, for example, the boyfriend may strike his girlfriend, but without intending to hit her and certainly without intending to injure her.
3. A CDC (center for disease control) survey found that 50 percent of all spousal violence was mutual making Partner aggression two-way.
4. It was illegal for a man to hit his wife after 9 P.M. in London ( meaning it was ok before 9 P.M.) reasoning was that women needed time to rest in order to do house chores.
5. Often it is mocked, deemed foolish and comic when a man claims being a victim of domestic violence, however studies show that men lose their life to domestic violence at similiar rates as women do.
6.  Men are less likely to report abuse as victims due to embarrassment, stigmas, credibility and nothing has been done to encourage it.
7. Every 15 seconds a woman is assaulted by a boyfriend her husband or a lover, every 14 seconds the same happens to a man ( FOX 2 NEWS )
8.In 7 out of 10 cases women were the aggressors of an Abuser/Abusee relationship where there male parnter did not re-act physically According to a national survey on partner aggression Published by the Centers for Disease Control in May 2007.
9.Women use violence to resolve conflict in intimate relationships just as often as men according to a well-publicized study conducted by Dr. Murray Strauss of the University of New Hampshire.
10.A high number of women become victims due to them first initializing an assault towards their husband or partner.
 This is just a few facts about domestic violence. Yes I do believe this law saves a lot of women every day. But the fact of the matter is, this law makes criminals out of innocent men everyday as well. How many times have you try to walk out of your house to keep from arguing with your wife? Whats the first thing that happens most of the time? She get in front of you and will not let you leave. Isn't this holding someone hostage? So to free yourself you move her out of the way so you can leave a situation that is getting out of control. As soon as you try to slide by her and she's still in front of you pushing you back waht happens. BAM!  you go to jail for assault. This is not an excuse defense strategy it is a simple fact. By the time the cops get there the woman is crying and her face is red FROM crying she says "HE PUSHED ME!" guess what. You get a ride in the public vehicle.
